Nate Seavecki retired from the Marines after serving his country in Afghanistan and Africa. On Monday, through Dogs2DogTags, he'll be partnered up with Anna! Anna is a black lab and a world-class hunting dog.
Dogs2DogTags provides treatment options to veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder. They say canine companionship can make a huge difference in preventing suicide rates among veterans.
The nonprofit organization is based in Sheboygan Falls. They work to find the perfect dogs, train them and then group them up with service members who have been diagnosed with PTSD and anxiety.
The veterans get the dogs for free and all costs are covered by donations.
