Posted

A man jumped through a window Tuesday as he tried to escape police, according to Pulaski authorities.

Just after 2 p.m., the 38-year-old suspect ran from a Pulaski Police officer, the department said in a news release.

The suspect, wanted in a domestic violence case, drove to his girlfriend’s home on the 200 block of Front Street, ran inside, then jumped through a window to escape police, authorities said.

The suspect then went into an unlocked home on the 100 block of Lincoln Street, and stayed inside until the resident returned home and called 911, police said.

The suspect was arrested after police found him inside an unlocked garage.

Glenbrook Elementary School went on lockdown as a precaution as police searched for the man.

Police did not report any injuries.
