A parent-teacher organization treasurer and Girl Scout troop leader is accused of stealing more than $12,600 dollars from the groups.

Renee Lafleur-Linder, 41, of Greenville, faces two felony charges for theft in a business setting and one misdemeanor charge for theft. An initial court appearance has been scheduled for 1 p.m. Dec. 5 in Outagamie County.

The Greenville Middle School principal told the sheriff's department that there were concerns regarding the Parent Teacher Organization's finances and the PTO's treasurer, Lafleur-Linder. According to the criminal complaint, a review of PTO's bank statements determined there were 57 unauthorized transactions totaling more than $7,000.

As a Girl Scout leader, Lafeur-Linder also had access to troop funds and a review of unauthorized charges and missing deposits show a loss of more than $5,600, according to the criminal complaint.
