Around 6,700 We Energies customers were without power in the Fox Valley Tuesday for several hours due to a substation equipment issue, the company said.
The outage affected about 2,700 customers in Kimberly and 4,000 in the Appleton area, said We Energies spokesperson Amy Jahns.
The outage was a result of an equipment issue at a substation in the area, Jahns said.
