The biggest full moon of 2020 will pop over the horizon and make its appearance in the night sky this week.
According to Earthsky's Bruce McClure , the "Super Pink Moon" will occur at 10:35 p.m. E.T. on Tuesday.
USA Today reports that the moon isn't called a pink moon because of it's color, but because it corresponds with the early blooms of a pink wildflower called Phlox.
