The man killed after being struck by an alleged drunk driver in Fond du Lac was identified Saturday.
Jeffrey J. Koenigs, 54, of Fond du Lac was pronounced dead at the scene.
Koenigs was struck by a vehicle on South Park Avenue at E. 2nd Street at 1:38 a.m. Saturday.
Investigators said Koenigs was walking in a cross walk to pass South Park Avenue when he was hit. A 51 year old Fond du Lac man was driving a 2004 Dodge Dakota truck that struck him.
The truck driver was arrested and charged with homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle and operating without a driver's license.
The crash remains under investigation.
