No injuries were reported after crews responded to a fire at the construction site of a new Meijer store at 3801 N. Richmond Street in Grand Chute.
Grand Chute Fire Department received the call just before 8:30 p.m. Wednesday evening.
Visible flames and smoke could be seen emanating from the roof of the building were masonry work was being done.
Weather and the size of the building increased EMS response, but was quickly reduced once crews extinguished the fire, according to Assistant Chief Michael Debruler, of the Grand Chute Fire Department.
Fire investigators were on scene. The cause and damage estimates have not yet been released.
