Marines stood vigil outside Lambeau Field Sunday morning, but they weren't there for security. They were collecting Toys for Tots.

The annual collection drive helps local charities make sure children get presents this holiday season, despite their parent's financial troubles.

The Marine Reserves partnered with the Packers in order to put on the event.

“As far as people in attendance, we have the most people in attendance at this event than any other, we kind of just piggy-back off of Green Bay,” said Sgt. John Stradford, Marine Corps.

Stradford says Sunday the Marine Reserves raised more than $25,000 and collected more than 1150 toys.
