WisDOT announces WIS 57/WIS 32 is closed as of Friday, March 15, due to flooding at a bridge over the North Branch of the Manitowoc River in Calumet County.
The bridge is located approximately one mile north of County Road B between Forest Junction and the village of Hilbert. The detour route uses WIS 114, County BB and US 10.
State bridge maintenance engineers must inspect the bridge once the water recedes before reopening the bridge to traffic. WisDOT says the water may not recede enough for inspection until Monday or Tuesday of next week.
Motorists will not be permitted to cross the bridge until inspection takes place.
