FOND DU LAC (NBC 26) -- Fond du Lac Fire Rescue put out a vacant house fire early Saturday morning.
The fire was discovered through the city's Mutual Aid Box Alarm System, commonly abbreviated to MABAS, which alerted firefighters and surrounding communities to the fire.
Firefighters say they found most of the fire near the back of the building when they arrived.
They say they successfully extinguished the fire, but not before the house had gotten substantial damage.
This is an ongoing investigation. No further information was given.
