KENOSHA — Two people are in custody in connection with the death of an infant whose body is believed to have been disposed of in a field, Kenosha Police said Friday.
Kenosha Police received a tip about 9 p.m. Wednesday that 2-month-old Jalisa Adams-Frison, who lived in the 3700 block of 45th Street with her parents, had been missing since late July.
An investigation determined the baby was dead and her body was disposed of in a field at 50th Street and 52nd Avenue, the department said in a news release.
A search of the field Thursday found "possible evidence of the disposal," according to the news release.
A 21-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man are being held in connection with the death. The case is being referred to the Kenosha County District Attorney's Office on charges of hiding a corpse and harboring or aiding felons.
The investigation is ongoing.
