Thousands expected at the 2020 Home Expo

GREEN BAY, Wis. (NBC26) -- The Home Expo 2020 returns to the KI Convention Center on January 23 through January 26th. Roughly 3000 people are expected to attend this weekend.

There are several exhibitors that have experience with building, remodeling, appliances, basement contractors, cabinetry, concrete, counter tops, flooring, financing, sun rooms, heating & cooling, interior decorating, landscaping, refinancing, roofing, security systems, windows and so much more. Admission is $5 at the door or you can buy tickets by clicking HERE.

Each day there is something special for those attending.

On Thursday it's "Free with Three" Guests get free admission with the donation of 3 non-perishable food items to be donated to Paul’s Pantry.

Friday is "Home & Hops" You can purchase a glass and meet with experts while taste testing craft beers.

Saturday is "Family Day" There will be fun activities for the kids including the following:

  • 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Free Face Painting by Lori
  • 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. K-9 Unit specially trained K-9 dogs, Pyro and Neo, and handlers, Officer Scott Salzmann and Officer Joe Merrill will be on hand. These dogs are chosen for their intelligence and strong sense of smell. They can help when pursuing fugitives, searching for missing persons, and during narcotics or weapons detection.
  • 10 AM – 5 PM Take home a CD of your child’s personal identifying information along with Fingerprinting and DNA kits. Be safe and learn the latest on identity theft, home security, neighborhood watch, gun safety in the home, and Internet safety.
  • Draw your Dream Home contest – Children 12 and under can enter their project for a chance to win prizes.
  • Pick up a children’s hard hat thanks to Metzner’s Culligan Quality Water, Inc.

On Sunday it's "Sunday Funday BOGO" You buy one get one admission and if you're looking for a job in trades, just bring your resume and get free admission.
