KIMBERLY, Wis. (NBC 26) -- The Salvation Army of Fox Cities will host its annual Adopt-A-Family and Toys For Tots distribution for more than 626 families.

The distribution will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday the week before Christmas in Kimberly. There will be food donated to 236 households feeding a total of 309 people.

Adopt-A-Family is helping 390 families with the program benefiting 1132 children, while the Toys For Tots program will help make happy Christmases for 2575 children. Both programs will help 4236 people total this year.

"Adopt-A-Family is a Christmas sharing program where community members are matched with families struggling financially," said Major David Minks with The Salvation Army of Fox Cities. "Qualifying families were able to make a "wish list" for the household and the community member will try to match it."
