APPLETON — For many, it might be the workout of the summer.
"It's like trying to move a mountain," said Sam Hilgendorf, one of the participants
Dozens of teams gathered in Appleton to help raise money for Old Glory Honor Flight, a program that takes veterans to Washington D.C. to tour war monuments. Each flight costs $80,000, so Appleton International Airport held a fundraiser. Teams raised $1500 and then pulled a plane weighing 200,000 pounds.
"It's hardly budging and it only moves like half an inch," Hilgendorf said.
The event raised over $100,000.
