Oshkosh YMCA offers place for students to go following school shooting

OSHKOSH, Wis. (NBC26) -- The Oshkosh YMCA is offering a place for Oshkosh Area School District students to go following the school shooting.

Kids ages 6 to 18 years old are welcome from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday free of charge.

All non-members under the age of 12 are required to be signed in by an adult.

Family Primetime will have supervision starting at 10 a.m.

There will be extra staff on hand to monitor the facility but direct group supervision is not provided.

The Oshkosh Area School District has canceled school Wednesday following the school shooting at Oshkosh West High School.
