BROWN CO. (NBC 26) - A new non-profit in Brown County is helping you get the things you need, so you can stay home.
Operation Community Cares is only a few weeks-old. The organization is working with several nonprofits to combine resources for a one-stop shop. This way, you don’t have to bounce around to different organizations, and can find everything in one place.
"We want to get these products delivered to families,” said Executive Director Will Nething. “That includes elderly, disabled, new families that could potentially qualify for benefits. Trying to keep all of those families, parents that are single parents at home alone with their children, the whole goal and concept is to keep them at home and deliver these products there."
OCC has volunteers that will deliver to your house with no in-person contact. Right now, their volunteers are traveling about 60 miles a day each to deliver food and resources to families. Organizers say their biggest requests are for baby formula and diapers. To learn more about how to donate or how to request servicesclick here or call them at 920-615-8745
