SHAWANO - One woman was sent to the hospital after a house fire in Shawano Wednesday afternoon.
Fire crews say the fire started around 3:30 this afternoon on South Evergreen Street.
The woman was home when the fire started and called 911. She was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation.
Two children were also living at the home when the fire broke out, according to American Red Cross. No one else was hurt.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
GREEN BAY - Two adults and three children are displaced from an apartment fire on N. Baird Street in Green Bay.
The Red Cross says they are helping with the two families lodging and immediate needs.
Two other fires were also reported in the Milwaukee area, affecting a total of 22 people on New Year's Day.
