Man in U.S. illegally, arrested for multiple child sex crimes

BIRNAMWOOD, Wis — A man, illegally in the country has been arrested on multiple sex crimes against children.

The Shawano County Sheriff's Department officials say 19-year-old Hobil Bravo-Perez is facing 6 charges of sexual assault of several children ranging from ages 12 to 16.

The charges against Bravo-Perez include; sexual assault of a child under 16 years of age, repeated sexual assault of a child, trafficking of a child, child enticement, child enticement-prostitution and 1st degree sexual assault with a child under age 13.

According to court documents, Bravo-Perez is from Mexico and is in the U.S. illegally.

The criminal complaint states Bravo-Perez used the alias, "Alexis Bravo" to lure his victims through Facebook.

According to the criminal complaint, "Alexis Bravo" befriended the underage victims on Facebook and would message them asking them to hang out at his Birnamwood house.

The report says "Alexis" asked her to have sex with him in exchange for $50.

One 15-year-old victim says Bravo-Perez raped her then gave her $50. Another victim states Bravo-Perez was physically abusive and hit her in the face with a closed fist on multiple occasions.

When Bravo-Perez was arrested, police found a fake social security card, multiple fake United States Permanent Resident cards, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia inside his Village of Birnamwood home.

A cash bond of 100-thousand dollars has been set. Bravo-Perez's initial appearance in court is scheduled for September 30th at 1:30 pm.
