87 employees will be laid off after UW-Oshkosh switches companies to provide food service on campus, according to a WARN notice from Wisconsin's Department of Workforce Development.
The WARN notice says University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh gave notice to company Sodexo that the school will no longer use the company for food services on the Oshkosh campus.
As a result, the WARN notice says Sodexo will shut down operations on July 10 and will layoff 87 workers. The jobs include bakers, cashiers and cooks.
The WARN notice states UW-Oshkosh will switch to a different provider called A'viands for future services.
