DE PERE (NBC26) - Hundreds filled up on pancakes Sunday morning in De Pere before getting to meet with Santa!
It's part of the Pancakes and Porkies Breakfast with the Kiwanis Club of De Pere. Organizers said the snow influenced their breakfast traffic, but still hundreds stopped by the annual fundraiser.
The event helps raise money for several youth-oriented programs with the Kiwanis Club.
"We do a lot of fundraisers during the year; this is more a family event where we like to see multiple generations joining in food, and celebration and music. It kicks off the holiday season for us every year,” said member Tom Schumacher.
Club members add they typically serve around 600 people at Sunday’s event.
