The Green Bay Police Department is warning drivers about potential flooding, after the area saw a downpour of rain Thursday.
Due to the current weather conditions, and the possibility of additional rainfall, the Green Bay Police Department is advising drivers to use extreme caution when traveling all city streets.
This includes those roadways located close to the East and Fox Rivers, the department says.
Police said water levels are currently high and the additional rain will cause these levels to rise. Drivers should be aware that flooding could occur and should take extra caution when traveling.
Remember: Turn around, don't drown. Police advise drivers not to drive through standing water. Police said only a few inches can cause loss of control while driving and potential damage to your vehicle.
