Green Bay Police: Suspect in shooting incident considered armed and dangerous

GREEN BAY, Wis. — Green Bay Police have identified a suspect related to a shooting incident that happened around midnight on Monday.

On January 7th, police say a 38 year old man was injured by gunfire and walked to the area of Mason and Military Ave and requested that the police be called.

Green Bay Police and Green Bay Fire/Rescue responded to the scene and the man was taken to a local hospital for treatment of his injury and was later released.

The suspect has been identified as Joshua M. Thomas, a 29 year old Green Bay resident. Green Bay Police say Thomas has warrant through the WI Department of Corrections, and is wanted by the Green Bay Police Department for First Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety and Battery.

Police say Thomas is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. Anyone with information on this incident is encouraged to contact the Green Bay Police Department (920) 448-3208 and reference case number #2019-201120.
