Four people arrested in property crime spree

Police have arrested four people accused of a spree of property crimes throughout the Fox Valley, including the damage at the Fox Cities Champion Center project site. Authorities say the suspects were arrested Wednesday morning.

According to a joint news release, Appleton Police Department, Grand Chute Police Department and Fox Valley Metro Police Department worked together on the arrests.

The crimes included the fires in Appleton’s downtown parking ramps, a burglary to a Fox Valley Tech home in Appleton, the extensive damage to the Fox Cities Champion Center project site in Grand Chute and damage to a construction site in Little Chute.

Police say two of the suspects are Appleton residents and are in Outagamie County Jail on charges of Criminal Damage to Property. Police are implying that the other two suspects are juveniles, saying in the news release that they will be handled by the juvenile justice system.

Additional charges are expected to be filed later this week.
