OUTAGAMIE COUNTY, Wis. — A snowmobiler died after Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office says he hit a semi-truck and trailer.

The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched Thursday morning to a snowmobile crash on STH 54 just west of Old 54 in the Town of Bovina.

The Sheriff's Office says a snowmobiler was northbound on a trail and failed to stop at STH 54. The snowmobile, driven by 42-year-old Christopher Warning from Hortonville, struck a semi-truck and trailer that was eastbound on STH 54, according to the Sheriff's Office.

The semi, owned by Amerhart from Green Bay, was driven by a 44-year-old man from Green Bay. The driver of the snowmobile died on scene. The semi-truck driver was not injured.
