GREEN BAY (NBC26) - Packers fans lined up at the Austin Straubel Airport Saturday to wish players good luck before taking off for San Francisco.

Not only were fans showing their support, they were also there to catch players in a more ‘laid back style.’

"Aaron Jones with his sombrero on again; everybody was walking through with their Billy Turner outfits he made for all the team,” said Rob Pritchard of Green Bay. “It’s really neat to see them come through and not in game mode.”

But with the game on everyone’s minds, fans say we’re going to bring back the win.

"Listening to how confident the team is this week and hearing all the coaches and how they're doing things different than last time, I think we got this one we're going to win,” added Maureen Pritchard.

A few players made 'fashion' statements Saturday as they walked through the airport, including Za'Darius Smith wearing a Reggie White jersey. Others, like Aaron Rodgers, just made their way through while giving fans a little extra attention.

The Pritchard’s are a family you’ll see often, greeting the green and gold as they come and go. They say it’s become a tradition.

"This is one of my favorite things to do; we come out all the time,” Maureen said.

However, some younger fans that showed up to send the Pack off were just hoping for a close-up with their favorite player.

"I'm wearing #17 Devante Adams,” said Gabe Laverdiere of Green Bay. “I got my Packers shoulder pads."

Unfortunately, Gabe, a future NFL star just missed seeing them take-off.

"It was too late because we got slowed down by the storm."

But it's not going to waiver his green and gold spirit as he said confidently that the Packers are going to win. So maybe he’ll get to greet the Packers when they come back into town with the ‘W.’

So let's bring the heat!

"They were dressed a little bit warmer than most people around here,” Rob added.

Or maybe some warm clothes…
