UPDATE: East Shore drive in Green Bay has reopened. It is no longer blocked by high water.

GREEN BAY (NBC 26) -- The Green Bay Police Department is reporting localized flooding that has impacted travel on the east side of the city.

Police say avoid East Shore Drive from North Irwin St to Nicolet Drive due to water over the roadway. Both eastbound and westbound lanes of traffic are flooded and closed to vehicle traffic. Police are on scene and monitoring the situation.

As an alternative, police say drivers should use University Avenue to travel both east and westbound. Access for residents is limited.
