DOOR COUNTY (NBC 26) -- Door County Habitat for Humanity is donating N95 respirator masks to Door County Medical Center, the non-profit announced Wednesday.

Door County Habitat for Humanity says it found a supply of N95 respirator masks in the safety equipment for their home build volunteers. Since the home build is delayed due to coronavirus, the organization has donated the masks to Door County Medical Center for medical staff to use.

Door County Habitat for Humanity is also making other donations available to the community for those who need it. Hats, mittens, gloves and scarves provided by Just Door County have been moved to a water-resistant bin outside the ReStore so anyone that needs something can access it. They have also set up a “free little pantry” to accompany their free little library.

Anyone who has extra non-perishable items they would like to donate are asked to place them in the pantry, and if anyone needs something to take just what they need.
