GREEN BAY, Wis. — Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Green Bay received a $10,000 emergency grant from Catholic Charities USA to people impacted by recent flooding, the Diocese says in a news release.
The Diocese says the grant money will be distributed to individuals upon request. The grants are in the amount of $200 per family with an income of less than $60,000 per year. The funds are first-come, first-served basis to those living within the 16 counties of the Diocese of Green Bay.
The money is meant to help people pay for costs related to cleanup, replacing damaged items, purchase of a dehumidifier, daily living expenses, security deposit assistance, and temporary housing.
