APPLETON, Wis. — The Building for Kids Children's Museum celebrated on Sunday at the Diversity Discovery Free Day.
It's a free admission day at the museum, and it's a chance for the museum to come together, share, and learn what makes the museum and the community special through its diversity.
"Show all the differences that we have in the community but in a positive way," Director of Marketing Katy Compton said. "So, through education experience we're trying to take some of those stigmas of people being different and show that this isn't a bad thing, it's a great thing for our community. It makes us special."
This is the 4th annual Discovery Free Day.
