LAKE WINNEBAGO, Wis. — The warm weather contributed to a nice turnout at the annual Walk Across Lake Winnebago on Saturday.
The goal this year is to raise funds for the Neenah Police Department's K9 Unit and the Neenah-Menasha Water Rescue Team.
It's in remembrance of Cassandra Laabs, Lauren Laabs, and their dog.
They died in a boating accident on Lake Winnebago in August.
Lauren and Cassandra were just 20 and 26 years old.
