After competing in the national spotlight on NBC's "American Ninja Warrior", three Suamico natives have broken ground on building a new gym geared towards training future "Ninja Warriors".

Brothers Dalton and Drew Knapp, along with their friend Luke Chambers, are building the "Warrior Jungle" in De Pere.

All three competed in the past season of "American Ninja Warrior", which airs on NBC26.

Once the gym opens, the group plans to offer a variety of classes to people of all ages and skill levels. Some classes will include training for "American Ninja Warrior", Tough Mudder competitions, Cross Fit and much more.

"So we've been in the process for this gym for over at least a year and a half," says Drew Knapp who competed on American Ninja Warrior. "To actually have the building going on behind me and all that construction going on its really exciting to actually see it coming to fruition."

The group plans to have the new gym open by this winter.
