A female Green Bay police officer has filed a harassment complaint against the police department, documents revealed Friday.
Officer Stephanie Dantoin filed a complaint saying male co-workers harassed her because she is a woman and single.
She said the harassment started in 2015, and the most recent instance happened in late 2016.
The complaint said a male officer and other would criticize her performance in a demeaning way, without doing the same to men. She said she would be sent away from police calls for no reason, and the same did not happen to men.
"Any time we have any allegations of misconduct, harassment we have to take them very seriously and we do," said Green Bay Police Chief Andrew Smith.
The complaint said Dantoin has been reassigned to a different shift away from the night shift, where she says the harassment happened.
The Green Bay Police Department had a deadline to respond to the complaint by Friday.
