A 53-year-old Green Bay man is in jail Thursday night, after he was charged with attacking and injuring a bartender back in October.
The alleged attack happened in the early morning hours of October 14, just behind Jekyll and Hyde Bar. Anthony Oliver is charged with counts of armed robbery, aggravated battery and obstructing a police officer.
According to a criminal complaint, the bartender was leaving the bar after work as usual, when Oliver hit her with a blunt object and took her purse.
The complaint says the bartender ended up with a cracked skull, brain bleeding, a broken bone in her neck and a broken finger.
Oliver’s criminal past was brought up in court Thursday. He was charged with armed burglary in 2007 and possession of a firearm by a felon in 1994.
Oliver is held in brown county jail on a $25,000 cash bail.
