Franklin Middle School shared with parents of students that one of its students brought an airsoft gun to school on Monday.
The school says no students were harmed or threatened and the situation was taken care of quickly.
The principal, Jackie Hauser, said in an email to NBC26 that student safety is its highest priority and that they encourage students and parents to come forward when they see something suspicious.
