GREEN BAY, WI -- Fun, food, and--of course--fireworks, are on the to-do lists of thousands of neighbors and visitors to Northeast Wisconsin this Fourth of July weekend.
In downtown Green Bay, event organizers are busy getting CityDeck ready for the day-long Fire Over the Fox, which will include live music, games, food vendors, and a 40-minute fireworks show over the Fox River starting at 9:45 pm.
Police expect about 100,000 people to take part in Monday's event. If you're planning on attending, parking is free, and much of the activity is set to kick off around 1 pm. But police urge people to remember: no coolers, pets, or fireworks from home.
But it isn't the only place to catch 4th festivities on Monday, with events planned from Door County, to the Fox Valley.
