Some members of the Brown County community are helping homeless and foster youth get back on their feet.
Family Services of Northeast Wisconsin collected household items donated by the Home Builders Association and Service League of Green Bay to help youth in transitional housing when they move into their own apartments.
"Our youth often get left in the cracks and there's a huge gap in our community and not enough services to provide quality services to youth in need. It's great to be able to have them have a warm blanket and a warm pillow, the things we often take for granted,” said Meika Burnikel, Family Services Program Director.
