Diversity Discovery Free Day celebrated

Posted

Members of the Northeast Wisconsin community came together to celebrate diversity.

The Building for Kids in Appleton hosted their annual Diversity Discovery Free Day.

Organizers held activities to explore different cultures.  People got to enjoy Indian dances and activates from a Sikh Temple. Organizers say it brings families together as well.

"The building for kids is open, so we have all the fun, so they have the fun for kids, they have the exhibit, all things they can do, all the hands on activities, plus, we have this extra element to open to the community, all this diversity,” said Katy Compton, Dir. of Marketing and Programs.
