GREEN BAY (NBC 26) -- We've moved as a society to in-person get togethers to meetings through a screen, but there are ways you'll want to do it safely.
Screens play an important role with staying connected during this time. Services like Zoom, Skype and Facetime have been extremely useful. Downloads for apps like air-time and house party have also sky-rocketed, but it's important to make sure you're aware of the apps that likely collect some personal information and kids could interact with people you don't want them to.
Make sure chat rooms are locked. People have run into issues like zoom meeting links getting shared publicly.
Be sure to keep them private and set up waiting rooms so you have to approve people to join.
Be aware of public sharing of virtual meeting screen shots.
Be sure to ask for permission first before taking screen shots and ask if you can share to social media.
