The Wisconsin Department of Health Services says quitting smoking will not only improve your overall health, but it will reduce your risk of a coronavirus infection.
Smoking puts your fingers in contact with your mouth, DHS says, increasing your chances of transmitting the virus from hand to mouth.
DHS also says those who smoke may have lung disease, which increases the risk of serious illness.
