The Governor and state health officials provided an update Monday on where Wisconsin stands on the coronavirus pandemic.

The state reported 199 new cases during a news conference call on Monday. Deaths increased by nine.

Looking closer under the Badger Bounce Back Plan, Wisconsin is trending in the right direction when it comes to the percentage of daily positive tests.

6 percent of people testing positive for the virus Monday, that's down 2 percent from Sunday.

To reopen the state, we need to see a trend of 14 straight days of declining numbers of the percentage of people testing positive.
