BROWN COUNTY (NBC 26) -- Health officials in Brown County provided an update Thursday on the number of coronavirus cases in the county.

There is now a total of 58 cases in the county. Forty-nine are in Brown County, five are in Oneida Nation; additionally, one case came as a hospital transfer from another county. Three other cases were also previously transferred from other counties.

Twelve people are currently hospitalized.

Brown County health officials also said Thursday that 18 people are now out of isolation, which is up three from Wednesday.

Most cases have been good at isolation and self-quarantining, health officials said. Only a couple of people reportedly disregarded warnings after meeting with communicable disease staff; health officials said they were quickly brought back.
