APPLETON (NBC 26) -- The City of Appleton confirmed its 12th case of coronavirus on Wednesday.
In a news release from the city, Appleton said the city's Health Department received notice Wednesday of an another resident who tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 12.
The city said there are currently five residents in isolation, six who had COVID-19 who have been released from isolation and one who has died from the virus.
In this latest case, the city said the person lives in the Outagamie County portion of the city. The case was acquired through community spread. The resident is in isolation.
