NEENAH, Wis. — The Great Harvest Bread Co. shop in Neenah announced on its Facebook page that it will give away free loaves of bread to people impacted by the government shutdown.
"The government shutdown has gone on too long and is affecting too many people, so we want to help," the post says. "If you are affected by the shutdown and are in need of help, please come help yourself to a loaf."
The post states the offer of free loaves is while supplies last.
The Great Harvest Bread Company is a bakery chain with franchise locations all over the country.
