MANITOWOC, Wis. — A Facebook event is hosting a benefit for Jayme Closs in Manitowoc.

The event, posted by Tina Sabin, will be held March 17 on 1107 S10th St at the Salute to Everyone bar.

The event will feature food, raffles, silent auction and live music. Proceeds will go to help Jayme Closs in her recovery.

13-year-old Jayme Closs escaped from a remote cabin in northwest Wisconsin late last week, nearly three months after she was abducted from her family’s home. Investigators allege the suspect , 21-year-old son Jake Patterson, killed Jayme's parents and kidnapped her.

Patterson is in jail on homicide and kidnapping charges. His next court hearing is scheduled for February 6.
