8 arrested in human trafficking investigation

  The Oshkosh Police Department announced today the arrest of 8 men as they conducted a human trafficking investigation yesterday, focusing on persons who are willing to pay for sexual contact.

  The men arrested ranged in age from 20 to 60 years old.  Men from Hortonville, Horicon, Fremont, Appleton, Waupaca and from Illinois were taken into custody.

  The purpose of the investigation was to reduce human trafficking, by lessening the demand.
