SUAMICO, Wis. - The NEW Zoo & Adventure Park is welcoming a new member of its zoo family - a snowy owl.
The owl's name is Bubo. He hatched 9 months ago at another zoo and is now ready to leave his parents.
The snowy owl can be seen in the Wisconsin Trails portion of the zoo.
The species is adapted to the constant daylight of the Arctic, so Bubo will be very active during the daytime.
