Compassionate Home Health Care has a reason to celebrate this holiday. The organization exceeded the goal for their seasonal giving campaign.

The group supports services for the elderly, children, and those with disabilities and special needs.

During the campaign, the group set out collection buckets at area businesses and held fundraisers.

The group partnered with Midwest Restoration to get the items picked up and delivered to approximately 3,000 people.

“When I delivered the last set of supplies to our community members it was this, not so much weight lifted off my shoulders, but this overwhelming sensation of joy that we live in an amazing community,” said Dawn Paradiso-Hansen, President and CEO of Compassionate Home Health Care.

"It's great to help out, great to see those homes and people helped out. I just think we can always do more and if anything else, we're going to just most likely continue to set the bar higher year after year," added Coyne Borree, CEO of Midwest Restoration.

This is the seventh year of the holiday giving drive. The goal was to reach 500 homes, but the community’s generosity allowed them to double that and ultimately serve more than 1,000 homes.
