FOND DU LAC, Wis. — The Sturgeon Spectacular gets started in Fond du Lac Tuesday February 5th with the World Ice and Snow Sailing Champions!
It's the longest running international competition in the sports of windsurfing. Athletes from at least 10 different countries including Estonia, Sweden, Montreal, Russia, Switzerland, Lithuania and across the United States have already registered to sail the frozen Lake Winnebago.
The Sturgeon Spectacular is all about celebrating winter in Wisconsin so organizers have added a few more activities including curling. Folks will get to give the sports a try while enjoying a family and kid area with even more fun winter activities!
