Arvydas Sabonis is arguably the greatest European basketball player of all time. The cold war and geopolitical complications kept him from joining the NBA for the entirety of his playing prime. His journey and his many sacrifices set the stage for his son Domatas Sabonis who was drafted this year in the first round.
