On the third day of practice, the Packers broke out their pads for the first time this season. Wearing full gear meant a great deal more contact and also higher intensity. It was the first time the players were in pads since their playoff loss to the Cardinals in January. Head coach Mike McCarthy said it's the first step to getting his guys ready to play the game.
